Arte Valiente is a multi-faceted space that offers services ranging from henna body art to hand crafted chainmail and polymer clay pieces. Below you can find details about our various henna services and customs with the Contact section below.

Henna paste is made from a simple 4-ingredient recipe that includes 100% henna powder, lemon juice, tea tree oil (or lavender) and a pinch of sugar for consistency. The paste is then applied to your skin with a beautiful design and once it dries, it will leave behind a rich orange stain that will deepen in color over 48 hours. The design stays on the skin for up to 10-15 days depending on the body area, and naturally fades away with wear and washing. Tea tree oil has anti-bacterial properties, and this mix is generally safe for sensitive skin which is one of the reasons I love to use it.

which Henna service is right for you?

- $60 per hour or $200 for 4 hours - Specific designs can be chosen from a binder ranging from small to medium size.
- For more intricate designs to be available in a pre-booked event, please mention this in the booking email for details.
Have you ever wanted to learn how to do henna but didn’t know where to start or just hadn’t tried it yet? This beginner option is perfect for those looking to learn how to draw basic henna designs and mix a proper paste.
- For parties of 3-5 people starting at $300 - This lesson ranges from 3-5 hours depending on the participants.
- This includes 3 filled cones, one for use during the lesson and the others to take home and freeze for future use. You will learn how to draw lines, start a mandala, and small floral designs on paper.
- While each participant takes turns practicing, I will do a custom henna design on each person.
This service includes a prior consultation to talk out design and size. This experience is meant to be fun, memorable and unique, but most importantly safe for momma. I am willing to do home visits to ensure the most comfort and trust. This is one of my favorite henna subjects; all bellies are welcome!
